Jackie Nichols, a dedicated enrollment specialist at Glasgow Elementary School, has been named the Riverview Gardens School District Support Staff of the Year.
Nichols has served as a cornerstone of Glasgow Elementary for years, playing an integral role in the school’s daily operations and supporting students, staff and families with unwavering dedication. She is also one of the district’s lead enrollment specialists, helping manage complex processes with accuracy and efficiency.
“Ms. Nichols is a true asset to our school and district,” said Kasia Landa, principal at Glasgow Elementary. “She is is an invaluable member of the Glasgow team.
In addition to her daily responsibilities, Nichols has played a key role in training and supporting many administrative assistants across the district. Known for her strong relationships within the school community, she takes initiative in all areas of her work—implementing solutions, supporting staff across the district, and identifying ways to improve operations. She is a self-starter and a go-to resource, offering guidance on district systems and practices with expertise and care.
“Ms. Nichols consistently goes above and beyond her duties to help maintain the positive, organized environment that keeps Glasgow operating seamlessly,” Landa added.
In addition to her work duties, Nichols is an active member of the school’s Guiding Coalition, helping implement best practices and contributing to school improvement efforts. A proud Riverview alumna, Nichols brings a deep-rooted commitment to the success of Glasgow Elementary and the Riverview Gardens community.
Nichols was honored at the District Teacher of the Year, Staff of the Year and Retirement Celebration on May 7, at Riverview Gardens High School.
