🎉 Congratulations, Central Middle School! 🎉

On October 28, three outstanding Central Middle School students, Jamiya, Brendan, and Elijah, were honored at the Riverview Gardens Board of Education meeting for their outstanding leadership and contributions to the school community through the Riverview Excellence recognition program. The evening highlighted the remarkable achievements of these young scholars, whose hard work and dedication embody the spirit of Central Middle School. Jamiya was recognized for her excellence both in and out of the classroom, actively participating in numerous school activities and serving as the host of the CMS podcast, "Just Ask Jamiya", where she gives voice to her peers and promotes positive communication throughout the school. Her confidence, poise, and commitment to student engagement made her a standout recipient of this distinguished honor.

Brendan and Elijah were celebrated for their creativity and enthusiasm as hosts of "Three Things You Should Know at CMS", a segment that keeps students and families informed about important school events and highlights. Their teamwork has made the segment a student favorite, demonstrating how student-led initiatives can strengthen school spirit and connection. The Board of Education commended all three students for their leadership, communication skills, and commitment to making CMS a welcoming and informed community. The event was a proud moment for Central Middle School, showcasing the incredible talent, voice, and excellence of its students.
