high school tour

Eighth grade students from Central Middle School recently visited the high school as part of a tour sponsored by The Little Bit Foundation. The trip gave students a chance to learn about the layout of the high school, meet some of the staff, and hear about the academic and extracurricular programs available to them next year. It was a valuable opportunity for students to start thinking about their transition to high school and what to expect in the coming year.

During the visit, students listened to a special guest speaker, Aisha Bowe, a former NASA aerospace engineer and the founder and CEO of STEMBoard. She shared her personal story of overcoming challenges and encouraged students to stay curious, work through setbacks, and believe in their ability to reach their goals. Her message was clear and practical, offering advice about staying focused, asking for help when needed, and being open to new opportunities. This visit inspired the students to think and create their own possibilities.
