RGSD celebrates Read Across America week! The staff and students at Gibson Elementary School got a big surprise. St. Louis rapper Zeus Rebel Waters and his team brought the Reading with Rappers assembly to their school. At the assembly, scholars participated in a read-aloud, talent show and literacy charades. Scholars also earned prizes and much more! A huge thank you to the Reading with Rappers team for visiting Gibson Elementary School and reminding our scholars that reading is a superpower that will carry them far in life!
