Dr. Tanya Patton Honored by the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis

Dr. Tanya Patton, assistant superintendent of Student, School and Community Support, was honored at the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis' Salute to Women in Leadership Gala. The Salute to Women in Leadership Gala is an annual event created to recognize the tireless contributions of outstanding women.

Winners are selected from various professional and civic categories including community leaders, elected officials, educators, media, corporations, businesses and charities.

Tanya Patton is a dynamic educator and well-deserving of this prestigious award from the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis," said RGSD Superintendent Dr. Joylynn Pruitt-Adams. "She is a shining example of Riverview excellence."

Patton was honored alongside Ferguson Mayor Ella Jones, actress Tichina Arnold, civil rights attorney Areva Martin and several other outstanding women.
